Today I shut down and fully tear apart a $10,000 Bitmain Antminer Z15 Pro that I’ve been mining on for the past 3 months.
The machine was running hot, throwing hardware errors, and the thermal paste was completely dried out — so I decided to take the risk and rebuild it LIVE.
In this video:
• Full teardown and cleaning
• New Arctic MX6 thermal paste applied
• Hardware error comparison
• Temperature improvements
• 24-hour performance results
• Shipping prep for the new owner
This Zcash miner is still making around $23–$25/day mining Equihash, so it deserved a proper refresh before heading to its new home.
Was it worth the risk? Let me know what you think.
